Short Bio

John is a composer whose work explores the relationship between sound, form, and emotional immediacy. His music balances structure and intuition, clarity and spontaneity, creating works that are both carefully constructed and directly communicative. He recently completed his Master of Music in Concert Composition at New York University, where he studied with Justin Dello Joio and Žibuoklė Martinaitytė, following a B.M. from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater.
